Salisbury Bldg. 1 Renovation

HICAPS was the Design-Build General Contractor for this renovation project of a 106 room existing reinforced concrete and brick structure of approximately 26,888 SF. The work included providing all design services and construction operations for the replacement of three existing air handling units and updating the building HVAC system. There was also an abatement of asbestos floor tile and mastic and pipe insulation along with interior and exterior ADA modifications and the addition of a building sprinkler system. HICAPS also replaced all flooring, wall and ceiling finishes and replaced the single glazed double hung aluminum windows with new energy efficient triple glazed windows. Site work and landscaping was also included with this contract. Total cost of the project was $1.6 million.
