HICAPS Busy With Three Task Order Construction Projects in Jacksonville, Florida
HICAPS is proud to announce that we have been awarded three task order construction projects within the last 12 months at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, Florida, totaling $23 million dollars. These task orders have all come from a Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) that HICAPS was awarded back in September 2014.
HICAPS Program Manager, Jennifer Strimple is leading the efforts of the project teams in place, which include Superintendents Jim Green and Rob Stubberfield; Quality Control Managers Erik Bradley and Isaac Borsellino and Site Safety Manager Walt Boyer.
The first task order awarded is a 19,000-square-foot design-build renovation of Administration Building 110. Work being performed under this contract includes construction of a temporary modular building complex as swing space, asbestos abatement and interior demolition, exterior renovation to include new ADA compliance main entrance, floor reconstruction related to plumbing modifications, repairing and re-configuring non-load bearing walls, new electrical and mechanical systems and lighting, all new interior finishes and installation of new modular furniture. The project’s value is $4 million and will be completed January 2017.
