Salem VAMC – Reverse Osmosis

HICAPS was the Design-Build General Contractor for this project at the VAMC in Salem, Virginia. HICAPS installed the VA-provided reverse osmosis generator in the sub-basement of Building 143. The system provided demineralized water used in the sterilization of all surgical equipment on campus. Great care was taken to follow all infectious control procedures inside the equipment sterilization suite. The total cost of this project was $100,000.
