NAVFAC - QB 822 Repairs

BQ 822 is an existing bachelor housing complex consisting primarily of three story buildings: Building A, Building B, and Building C. The work of this project included interior and exterior renovations. This facility needed to be phased and occupied by tenants in the non-work areas of buildings during this time. The contractor was responsible for moving/relocating existing furniture within the contractor work areas to complete the assigned work for each phase, no offsite furniture storage was provided.

The scope included replacement of all central air handling units, air cooled chillers, fan coil units and exhaust fans. All condensate drain lines were replaced, with repairs to the gypsum board. All exterior sealants were also replaced, painting for the EIFS was done, as well as stucco and concrete finishes. New doors for water closets, living quarters, hallways and sleeping rooms were hung and finished. The gypsum board was repaired, patched and painted, and tile was reset in all 218 housing units.
