Construction Management
Construction management is the strategic oversight of a project, ensuring the project owner(s) that the cost, quality, safety, scope, and function of the project are successfully delivered as contracted. A capital project typically involves three key players: the project owner, who commissions the project and either funds it directly or finances through a variety of methods; the architect or engineer, who designs the project; and the general contractor, who oversees day-to-day operations and manages the subcontractors involved. A Construction Manager represents the owner's interest and provides oversight of the entire project.

General Contracting
With a team of Project Managers, Superintendents, and Project Engineers, HICAPS is a licensed General Contractor in several states. Before construction begins, we work with owners to develop construction budgets, collaborate with architects and engineers to make sure the design is realized, create construction schedules and hire subcontractors to complete specialized tasks. We may also respond to requests for proposals and take part in a competitive bidding process. While construction is taking place, we provide supervision and safety management in the field to ensure a quality project is built to the specifications and react to challenges that could negatively affect the schedule or budget.
