Renal Dialysis Building for the Department of Veterans Affairs

HICAPS, Inc. was selected as the general contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to complete the work associated with relocating and expanding the Renal Dialysis building at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Salem, Virginia.

The work included general construction, alterations, additions, roads, walks, grading, drainage, and necessary removal of existing building components. Additional work included electrical work, temporary utilities, and renovation of Med gas, fire protection, security systems, and communication systems. Major underground electrical distribution systems were also included in the scope.
