Visual and Performing Arts Elementary School

HICAPS, Inc., alongside C2 Contractors, was hired by Guilford County Schools to oversee the planning and execution of $300 million in bond projects starting in 2020. Our responsibilities include managing the planning, design, construction, contractors, and other vendors to ensure that projects are completed within scope, budget, on schedule, and in compliance with school construction codes and to a level of quality that exceeds industry standards. There are currently ten schools at various stages of completion, ranging from planning to successful completion.

The upcoming Visual and Performing Arts Elementary School is a component of the 2020 Guilford Schools Bond Program. It is scheduled to reach completion in late spring 2025 and will be 124,475 square feet. This establishment is being erected on the grounds of the former Peeler Elementary School, which was devastated by a tornado in 2018.
