Washington Elementary School

HICAPS Building Diagnostics team conducted an infrared roof scan using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) for a 10,000-square-foot building on the Washington Elementary School campus in Raleigh, NC, which recently had its roof system replaced. The project included a comprehensive visual inspection of the existing roof systems, covering all flashings and penetrations, along with an infrared thermographic inspection. This inspection aimed to identify any possible thermal anomalies that may indicate moisture intrusion through the building's enclosure. This inspection was completed in the summer of 2023.
